๐ฅ Litchfield Minerals | 2026 Field Season Update
Our 2026 field season is officially underway, following a busy off-season where we've continued to scale the team, welcoming two new geologists to support an active exploration program. We're also looking to add one more geologist as work ramps up across multiple projects.
๐ First stop: Silver Valley (~380km NNW of Alice Springs).
Managing Director Matthew Pustahya and the team are on site, marking the first visit to the project and confirming the reef system across Silver Valley 1, 2 and 3, located directly on the Murray Downs Dome - a major Proterozoic structural and intrusive dome with a strong history of vein-hosted silver-lead-copper-gold mineralisation.
Early field observations are encouraging, with high-grade galena identified in quartz veins and signs of broader polymetallic mineralisation, including silver, lead, zinc and copper. Sampling is underway, with field mapping and Gradient Array IP planned to support drill targeting.
๐ Work plan (next 3-6 months):
โ Oonagalabi - Diamond drilling (Bomb-Diggity & Main Zone), RC drilling, IP survey and deeper geophysics (co-funded)
โ Silver Valley - Field mapping & Gradient Array IP, progressing toward drilling
โ Lucy Creek - Aeromagnetic & radiometric survey (co-funded with NTGS), commencing ~10 days
โ Mount Doreen - RC drilling at Mount Irene & Dumunzi targets
A big year ahead - we look forward to sharing further updates as results flow through.
